Devlog: April Report
After Years » Devlog
Hi, guys!
It's the end of the month, so I decided to sum up the work I've done past these last three weeks.
- Improved UI - Font Size In response to your feedback related to the Android version, I decided to make a few tweaks in the UI and increase the font size. It took me a while to figure this out, but in the end I managed to re-code all of the menu boxes that required changes in dimensions due to the new text size. To make things easy from the deployment side, this change will be present in both desktop and mobile version of the game.
- Improved UI - New Save Menu The save screen will now display additional information - the number of saves and which character's route was taken in the playthrough. Additionally, players will have a choice to load and delete saved games from that same menu (so, in other words, there will be no need to return to the title screen in order to load the file from the other playthrough). The last feature I would also like to implement is a thumbnail that shows a miniature of the background from the scene when the game was saved, however, this one will require a lot of time, so I decided to leave it for the future builds and for now, foucus on writing the new content.
- New Feature: Hide UI It's now possible to hide the text box in the desktop version of the game (by pressing H button). While it's a simple RPG Maker Community plugin that normally shouldn't require any additional work, the way I implemented my message box was different from the one that was controlled by the plugin. It was a bit of a headache to figure out how to properly link these two elements, but alas, I did it, and even I'm surprised how well it works! (And so, players can now admire Angus's abs in their full glory).
And that covers the new features I prepared for the upcoming build.
Right now, I'm 100% focused on writing the new scenes, but unfortunately, I can't yet give any specific date about the new release. A new build (0.5.0) will be available here on itch.io as soon as I release a new demo for the patrons, so please stay tuned!
Thank you for reading.

Is there any new playable content story wise?, or is this a purely maintenance focused update?
Hello PaleAngel. Both 0.5.0 and 0.6.0 comes with a new playable content (Day 3).
