Hello everyone!

A new demo of After Years is here, and this time, the update is all about Rowley!

What's new?

- Story up to Day 3 - Rowley's route (part 2)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you're continuing Rowley's story, please select 'Check the new content of this build' option after selecting 'New Game' from the main menu. Using old save files might result in some issues.

I hope you guys will enjoy this new content and as always, I will be looking forward for your feedback.

PS. Just like last time, the Web-Browser version should get updated in a few days, along with a new Patreon exclusive build.

I'm in love with the game and it's characters, all of them. Keep up the good work =)

Thank you for playing the game. I'm very happy to hear it! :D

just an FYI - the MacOS build doesn't work on my Intel Mac with Big Sur - not sure what it was built for.  I just get a message 'You do not have the permission to open the application "Game"'.  It just could be a bug in Big Sur because it's still relatively new.

Thank you for the information, Quinn. The MacOS version is a bit problematic for some of the readers, and it's mainly because I'm unable to deploy a proper build for it, while using only my Windows PC (deploying the game in Windows environment doesn’t grant all MacOS’s permissions for the files, thus there's that error you've mentioned).

My current solution for this problem is a Web-Browser version of the game, which can be found here: https://tyrving.itch.io/after-years-web-browser-version?secret=2xVhaOotNJrmXN445...

This version of the game is identical to Desktop releases, although, at this moment it's still at v.0.9.0 (update to v.0.10.0 is coming in a few days). I'm sorry for this inconvenience.

Thanks, for the reply.  I have a Windows Virtual Machine as well and used it to play the update (5 stars).   Just wanted you to be aware in case anyone else mentions it. :-)

That's very clever! Maybe I could do the same to emulate Mac over my Windows to deploy a proper build? I'm not familiar with VM, but you sure give me an idea to check it out. Also, thank you for rating the game - it means a lot! :)

is there good eds and bad eds?

If you're talking about 'ends' as a route endings, then I indeed plan the stories to have some branching, but only time will tell how advanced they will be and how much they will affect the ending

ah, ok interesting.

Hehehe, Yessss, I'll play it later after class XD

I see what you did there ;)

Please enjoy!
